Terri Hayes Henson, M.D.

Dr. Terri Henson is from the small town of Coldwater, Mississippi.  She attended Memphis State University in 1984 and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  After graduation, she attended the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, graduated with highest honors in 1993, and was second of her class.  She is a board certified dermatologist, having completed her internship and dermatology residency at UT.  After residency, she joined the faculty of UT/UT Medical Group as an academic dermatologist for two years.  In 1999, Dr. Henson established Dermatology Clinic of North Mississippi, which has grown from a practice of two employees to a practice with fourteen staff members, including two non-physician providers.

Dr. Henson now lives in Memphis with her two sons Cullen and Curran, two cats, and beagle named Lila.

Misty Moore, MSN, ARNP, BC

Nurse Practitioner Misty Moore joined the Dermatology Clinic in 2007.  She started her nursing education at Northwest Community College where she received her associates degree in nursing.  She then attended Delta State University where she received both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing. 

Ms. Moore has worked for Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, and St. Francis Medical Center in Ewa Beach, HI.  Her love for her home brought her back to the Memphis area.  She worked for Semmes Murphy Clinic in Memphis until she found an opening in dermatology, her true passion.  She now is our aesthetics specialist but loves to treat a variety of medical conditions as well.

Ms. Moore has moved back to her home town of Hernando and lives with her husband Josh, daughter Mattie, son Eli and her two dogs.
